Overcome Professional Overwhelm and Feel Integrated in Your Practice
Online Clinical Supervision & consultation in vancouver & across BC
For many of us, being a therapist is so much more than a “job”- it’s a calling. Each day, we're privileged to enter our clients' inner worlds. Accompanying, facilitating, and witnessing their healing, growth, and transformation. How we show up to this important work matters. Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned therapist, we all encounter moments of challenge in our practice.
Do any of these clinical challenges resonate with you?
You deeply care and want to do a good job with your clients, but you feel anxious and scared to “get it wrong”
Feel overwhelmed and/or stuck in your work with clients
You go from training to training and/or have a never-ending list of books to read in hopes that something will give you the answer and sense of confidence in your work
You avoid consulting with other therapists because you worry they’ll think you don’t know what you’re doing
You feel unsure about what clinical interventions you are using and why
Struggle to integrate theory into practice despite leaving courses and trainings feeling inspired and ready to try new skills
Sense of isolation in the work; nowhere to discuss and process the feelings and challenges (or wins!) that come up for you in session
Feel burnt out and exhausted, like you’re just going through the motions
Connect to confidence and enjoyment in your work
HOW I WORK
I support you to be more grounded and intentional in your practice, deepen your skills, and build trust in your own capabilities. My style as a clinical supervisor is open, curious, and engaging. I deeply care about fostering relational and safe enough conditions for learning and growth to happen. I see myself as a fellow learner, teacher, and guide to support your growth. I balance warmth and support with offering constructive feedback and holding us accountable to your supervision goals.
I have completed post-graduate training in clinical supervision and receive regular supervision to get feedback on the supervision I provide others. My supervision framework is built from principles of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) supervision, Integrated Developmental Model of supervision, and the Seven Eyed Supervision Model. I provide clinical supervision across the professional continuum- Master’s level practicum students to experienced therapists - in individual, group, and organizational settings.
